  1. The first cable that I'm no longer using looks like the original cable that came with the Xbox One and I replaced it with another cable that looks like originally came with my other Xbox One.
  2. Forza Horizon 3 HDR

I've tried some more settings both in the game and on the TV and nothing seems to help. There is still a large difference between bright areas and darker areas. When the clouds are out it makes for a really odd effect with most of the environment being dark but where the sun is shining through the clouds still very bright. I'm hoping the Xbox One X patch they say is coming in early next year cleans it up.
  3. Forza Horizon 3 HDR

I picked up a Xbox One X and everything looks great on it except one game Forza Horizon 3. I know the Xbox One X patch for the game is not out for the game yet but it's a HDR game. So I get the notice on my LG OLED that HDR is one when I start the game. I just find any bright spots in the game are to bright. Taillights, the flares by the side of the road the sun. They are so bright they get white and wash out. Even in the menus the borders have this bright effect that just looks bad. Has anyone else seen this on either a X or S. I've tried updating settings both in the game and in the TV and it doesn't seem to change the effect. At this point I would love to just disable HDR for the game as it's been the only one I have seen the problem with. Anyone have experience with this and suggestions on what to do to address?
  4. So switching the port didn't help but decided to swap out the HDMI cable and I'm happy to report the TV has not restarted since. So out of the 3 items that could have went bad TV, Xbox One, and HDMI cable. I'm happy to report it looks like it was the HDMI cable. *knocks on wood*
  5. The TV is year old but it was a Black Friday special so who knows. It's no not acting like a loss of signal as the Samsung Splash screen comes up like it does after I turn it on. Here is hoping the HDMI port switch does the job.
  6. Hello GamerDads

Thanks for the welcomes. Yes I got lost when the grouped moved to Facebook as I only login maybe a few times a year so it took me awhile to find out it had moved again.
  7. So since Nov 7th when I'm using my secondary Xbox One in the house plugged into a Samsung 1080p set. The TV seems to reboot every so often. Over the course of a 2 hour gaming session it will restart 2 or 3 times. It's like it's getting turned off then back on. This started to happen right after the most recent OS update for the release of the Xbox One X. It has even done this at the home screen now with no game playing. The Xbox One is hooked up to the HDMI/DVI port and that port was configured to Game Mode. I was looking around in the settings last night and didn't see anything that I thought would help when changing. So I did switch the ports last night and left the other port that I plugged in on the dynamic mode. I don't use this TV for anything but the secondary XBox One so I don't know if the TV does it with anything else. I might hook up the 360 for a bit just to see if I can get it to act up. Has anyone else heard anything like this?
  8. I've got a Tesla Model S which I've had for 4.5 years. It's been a fun car and is my daily driver. Though as others have said the range sucks. I order the 40 which they didn't even make but ended up giving me a charge limited 60 (I can only charge to 66% of the battery capacity). The charge gives me a little over 130 Miles of range which is fine for my daily driving but we keep other cars for our longer drives. But I will say it's a fun 130 miles drive and at the time I just could not shell out a additional $10K for the 60 that didn't really get me that much more range. Though looking back I'm not sure I would do it again I had to stretch for the car payments and wonder if something else would have fit me better. Almost traded it in a couple months ago on a Dodge Charger Daytona 392 but the deal fell through.
  9. Star Wars Battlefront II

I picked up this game as I loved the Big Battle type games and the Star Wars world is great to be in. Even though I seem to only gotten worst as shooters in the last few years. I picked it up on Xbox.
